Software specialist Rimilia has appointed Karl Campbell, who joins as Chairman.
In addition to the appointment the company has raised $25m in growth funding. The round was co-led by Kennet Partners and Eight Roads Ventures. Rimilia has clients across Europe and the US including Avis, Hitachi, Santander and Travis Perkins and currently employs over 70 people at its Midlands headquarters in Bromsgrove.
Rimilia will use this first round of external capital to invest in its market leading software and into its sales, marketing, and customer support functions as it expands its presence in Europe and the US. As part of this fundraising it also plans to double the size of its team and make several senior hires, the first of which is Karl Campbell.
Chris McGibbon, CEO of Rimilia said: “This investment comes at a pivotal time for Rimilia and will allow us to capitalise on global opportunities. Both Eight Roads Ventures and Kennet Partners have terrific track-records investing in SaaS and FinTech companies. We look forward to working together as we navigate our next phase of growth.”
Karl Campbell added: “It is a pleasure to be joining Rimilia at this exciting time. Rimilia has a best in class product and team. As always, maintaining high customer satisfaction and value, while continuing to innovate our market leading financial solutions, will remain at the core of our culture.”
