Excel Collections & Enquiry Services Limited has announced the appointment of Laurence Venn as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) following the retirement of David Thorpe.
Venn is a highly experienced credit & collections professional. His career spans over 30 years and has held senior collections leadership positions at Lloyds Banking Group, Permanent TSB in Dublin and more recently Yorkshire Building Society where he delivered an Industry award-winning operational and conduct transformation programme.
Laurence Venn, newly appointed CEO, said “I am delighted to be joining Excel and working alongside Steve Worrell to take the company forward. Excel is a long established and professional organisation who I have held a business relationship with ever since it was founded by David Thorpe almost 25 years ago.”
“I have worked extensively with the wider financial services field agent sector over this period and I believe Excel’s real competitive edge is not only their bespoke and flexible approach with their clients but more importantly how they manage their conduct risk and the quality of service, which is so important in rebuilding relationships and delivering fair outcomes for customers. I am really excited about working with all our existing clients, those that have joined us recently and of course future ones in developing our services further, particularly in the area of customer vulnerability which lends itself to the real depth of individual experience and skills our field force possess.”
