Judges confirmed for 2021 Credit & Collections Technology Awards

The Credit & Collections Technology Awards has confirmed the judging panel for the 2021 event. Launched in 2017, the fifth annual awards seek to recognise excellence in credit and collections technology.

The judging panel includes industry association leaders whose expertise includes specialisms from a diversity of different backgrounds, this ranges from consumer and business commercial through to lending and collections. The Judges have the enviable task of judging the entries from the latest innovations in credit and collections technology. The Awards aim is to find those who are redefining the industry. New faces on the judging panel include Lex Jones, Chief Executive Officer from The Registry Trust,  Vanessa Northam,  Head of Strategic Relationships at StepChange, Maria Harris, Director of Digital Cat Consultancy and Martin Kirby, Head of Risk & Collections and Business Stream.

This year’s new Awards categories include Affordability Assessment solution, Vulnerable Customer Management solution, Innovation in Collections, Finance Lending solution, Credit Risk solution, Anti-Fraud solution plus many more. Two Awards categories have been added this year – Open Banking in Credit & Collections solution and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in Credit & Collections solution. Underpinning the ethos of the Awards is the influence of technology and how it can help provide the best customer outcome. The Awards places emphasis is on progression and innovation. Good technology support can provide a great competitive advantage in a crowded marketplace. The Awards categories have been created to reflect this dynamic.

All entries are FREE to enter and the entry process is straightforward and quick in a case study format. Joint entry partnerships are encouraged between creditor/lenders and services suppliers with winners highlighting their achievements. Finalists will be announced in August with the winners announced at the winner’s ceremony on Thursday 4th November which is provisionally scheduled to take place at the Midland Hotel in Manchester. The event, which will form part of the Collections & Lending Technology Think Tank which will take place at the venue earlier in the day. All of these plans are subject to change and are of course dependent on government guidelines with a Plan B online version of the event planned if required.
