Money Advice Scotland has announced that it has appointed Peter Costello as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Costello joins from River Garden Auchincruive where he was also CEO. Costello joins Money Advice Scotland at a time of significant change for the sector, with plans to further develop the organisation and build on previous success.
Cotsello has over 20 years’ experience in the third sector and plans to further develop the organisation and build on previous successes.
Costello replaces Yvonne MacDermid OBE who is stepping down as CEO after 23 years.
Costello said “I am delighted to be entrusted with the role as Chief Executive for MAS and very much look forward to working with the team and the sector. I am keen to support the organisation to build on the many successes there have been as we develop a creative response to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, while focusing on bringing recovery and resilience to the individuals MAS supports on a daily basis.”
