Registry Trust has announced that it has appointed Chris Dick as its new Operations Director.
The newly created Operations Director role involves working with the CEO and Financial Controller to develop and agree short and long-term strategy, supervising the daily operation of the customer services and data processing departments, and overseeing the compliance function of the business. The appointment follows a period of transformation of the organisation since it appointed a new CEO and re-branded in 2019.
Chris Dick comes from a background in banking at Barclays where he held several senior leadership roles at a global level, including most recently Head of Business Banking Servicing & Support. He joins Registry Trust following a fixed term contract at AQA Education where, as Deputy Head of Assessment Production, he drove change in operations and culture to enable delivery of a regulatory programme during the pandemic.
Commenting on the appointment Lex Jones, Registry Trust’s CEO, said “Chris brings a wealth of leadership, operational and commercial experience to our small but complex team. He also brings a genuine passion for and understanding of our social aims, which is what made him the perfect fit for the role.”
