Colin White, Director of Credit Connect Media, organisers of the Awards said “The evening is the culmination of a body of work by an industry obsessed with technological excellence, innovation and progression. All finalists should be very proud of their contribution to this process. These awards showcase technically great products that help enhance best customer outcome experiences through lending or collections. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and a special congratulations to our two new Innovational star winners.”

The Credit & Collections Technology Awards were launched in 2017 and have been created to provide a showcase from which technology specialists can present and share industry credit and collections solutions. The Awards seek to find innovation and technology which best supports customer outcome. The aim of all entrants is to provide a solution which places best customer outcome at the heart of all technology and innovation. Winner and finalist status highlight the success of companies and individuals who have led the way in enhancing credit and collections technology.

Judge Steve Preston from Elanev said “The entries this year were of exceptional quality, with many vendors demonstrating new and innovative uses of technology to solve real challenges. Many examples could quantify the difference that their solution had made to users. Differentiating between some entries was difficult, and any honourable mentions might have won in other years”.

Faizan Haq Senior Policy Adviser, Finance and Leasing Association (FLA) said “This year’s Credit & Collections Technology Awards has featured some very interesting companies and some incredible innovations.  The competition has been extremely close and while there can only be one winner under each category, I have no doubt that we will be seeing more of these fantastic ideas in the future.”

Michelle Thorp, CEO of the Insolvency Practitioners Association said “I am delighted to have been on the judging panel of the 2019 Credit & Collections Technology Awards. I was really impressed by the breadth of creative ideas and technological solutions.”

Jennifer Lambden, Chair of the Association of Credit Professionals said “The entrants for the awards were exceptional making the judging more difficult. Everyone deserved to win, unfortunately only one per category could take the award. The awards fly the flag for technology in collections which puts the focus where it should be, highlighting the important role collections plays within the business world. Judging these awards is an honour and I feel so proud to play a part in this important event. The awards are well organised and play an important role in recognising an industry that is often overlooked.”

The 2019 Awards hall of fame on the Credit & Collections Awards site will also be updated soon and a full review of this year’s Awards which will also include an industry technology review and company power list will be published in the forthcoming months.
