Financial Ombudsman Service appoints Chief Finance and Risk Officer

The Financial Ombudsman has announced the appointment of Jenny Simmonds to the role of Chief Finance and Risk Officer.

Simmonds, will take up her role in January and will lead the financial and risk infrastructure and be accountable for the property and facilities management strategies, the procurement function and will also act as Company Secretary.

Simmonds is currently Strategy, Commercial & Data Director at Virgin Media O2 Business & Wholesale UK. She has over ten years’ experience as a Finance Director, having held this role across various divisions of Virgin Media O2.
