Latest figures from the Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) have shown that business insolvencies in Scotland fell in January 2026.
The data show that there were 74 company insolvencies registered in Scotland, 1% lower than the number in January 2025.
The insolvencies comprised 42 CVLs and 32 compulsory liquidations.
There were no administrations, CVAs or receivership appointments.
