Halton Housing has announced an new partnership with financial wellbeing provider Money Wellness to support tenants who are struggling with money worries, such as rent arrears, debt, or a sudden drop in income.
Through the partnership, Halton Housing tenants will be able to access free, confidential advice from Money Wellness. Their expert advisers will help with managing debts, dealing with creditors, and checking for benefits or income boosts the tenant may be entitled to.

The partnership will make it easier for tenants to access practical help during tough times, ensuring they don’t have to face financial problems alone. Recent figures from Money Wellness show a continued rise in demand for support with priority bills like rent and energy, as the cost-of-living crisis continues to bite.
