CSA announces board of directors appointments

2nd March 2026

The Credit Services Association (CSA), the UK’s recognised trade body for the debt collection and debt purchase industry, has announced the appointment of four board directors following its 124th Annual General Meeting (AGM).

There were two new appointments, including Samantha Reed, Risk and Compliance Director at Intrum, who brings extensive experience in governance, regulatory engagement and financial crime oversight. She has a strong track record in designing and implementing risk, compliance and governance frameworks, managing senior regulatory relationships, and ensuring customer‑centric outcomes across multiple financial services disciplines.

Daniela Ferrer Francisco, Conduct and Risk Manager at NCO Europe, an accomplished professional with more than a decade of experience in compliance, risk management and corporate governance, was also appointed. Her background includes leading robust oversight functions and supporting organisations in strengthening regulatory adherence and operational resilience.

Of the four available board positions, two incumbent directors, Tim Kirk of PRA Group and Craig Hinchliffe of Perch Group, were successfully re-elected.

Commenting on the appointments, Chris Leslie said “Our CSA Board is drawn from across the collections and debt purchase sector, elected democratically at our AGM from among our member firms. Their collective experience ensures the voice of the sector is clearly represented and that our work continues to reflect real‑world issues faced across collections and recoveries.”

In addition, the AGM confirmed the re‑appointment of Desmond Hudson as the CSA’s Independent Chair for a further term. Hudson’s distinguished career includes senior leadership roles such as Chief Executive of the Law Society of England & Wales and Chief Executive of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
