Credit Connect Media hosted its second Commercial Credit & Collections Conference of the year last week in Tower Hill in London, which saw over 35 trade credit and insolvency professionals from various industry sectors meet to discuss the latest industry challenges.
The Commercial Credit & Collections Conference hosted three themed round tables following an economic and risk update from the event partners Marsh McLennan and AIG. The round tables that followed evaluated risk, insolvency, late payments, technology and the topical emergence of AI impacting business, commercial credit, and. collections strategies.
Commenting on the event, Chair Brendan Clarkson, Partner at Opus Restructing, said “Once again, the Commercial Credit and Collections Conference was extremely informative and very well organised, providing not only valuable insights but also a great opportunity to share ideas and connect with peers across the industry. It was a thoroughly worthwhile experience to attend.”
Gary Coates, Head of Trade and Political Risk from Marsh McLennan, and Co-Chair for the event, said ” I would like to thank everyone for their participation at the event in some lively discussions.”
Tony Cole, Head of Global Credit & Collections from Liberis, said “It was a fantastic conference, as a commercial credit professional, it was important to get a view across industries on the current climate, and I’m glad I could share my journey with AI.”
Colin White, event organiser from Credit Connect Media, said “It was great to see such a wide range of views from commercial credit and collections professionals who attended the event at our three round tables. We look forward to adding to the conversation at the next event taking place on 20th November in Manchester.
The event was supported by Marsh McLennan, Opus Restructuring, AIG and the CICM.
